getting started with nokia dbox 2

press dbox - choose service - press yellow....what's the img name?

then does blue button allow you to set ur location?

if not dbox- service - servicescan and set it for ur location......then scan for channels

when i go to servicescan have the following in brackets what they are set to.

back
save settings
scan for services (All services)
Bouguet (update existing)
cable provider (cableuk sym6952)
fast scan (on)
manual scan (off)
frequency
symbol rate
fec
polarization

start scan


when i press start scan it just goes into scan mode and on the screen it says ' Scan Mode'

how do i change my area as the channels say liverpool and want it to be birmingham

may sound dumb but how do i get the img.

Press dbox,sevices,image information and check what the image is called
or it says it on screen when its booting up it will have a name something like
sporster, commando, lakys, etc.

u will have to edit the settings manually to scan...

birmingham is one of these

the first number is net id - don't think u need that
the 2nd is the frequency
the third sym rate

all 6952 choose ukcable = 6952 just try the different frequencies


or flash a new uk modded image with set ur location.....this wil then se automatically by choosing birmingham

got most of the channels anyway, but trying a manual and nothing happening auotmatic scan will scan loads os channels if dat makes sense
