HELP!!! really want to buy a DBOX 2

I am thinking of buying a Dbox 2 but i am not sure whether i should or not as I dont really know much about it

I have virgin media TV atm with broadband and telephone line but i am thinking of cancelling TV. I have been told that i could buy a DBox to hook it up with the cable line which will allow me to get all channels free is that correct?

When i buy the Dbox what would i have to do in order for me to be able to watch all channels for free like sky sports etc? would i need to do any configurating wit the box?
Or would i only have to hook the Dbox to the cable line?

    please help!!

you connect it to your cable line. depending where you get your box form you will need to flash it with a image then add a few things to the image and away you go. all the things you need can be found on here and all the help you need to set it up. hope this helps if it did hit thanks

so basically i buy a DBOX, flash Commando11 image onto the box, add 'Real magic' files and it should work? correct?

would i still need virgin media tv then? or can i cancel my contract with them?
they wont take away the cable lead will they which need to be connected to the Dbox?

If you have the phone basic tv should be free so no need to cancel, just keep the free basic.

Why not pay basic TV package, around ?4 per week. If we were all as
tight-fisted as you, providers would have no income & just pull plug on
system, & there would be no signal.
Maybe forums might consider banning or suspending miserable cheap-
              skates like yourself

I'm willing to pay reasonable rate for average TV chls., some people want
others to keep PROV. afloat. I will ask members to decide which member
                    best fits description "HYPROCITE"

Buy a dreambox 500c m8, much cheaper than a dbox and keep your VM box in another room, that way because you have tv package you can still get on demand etc etc and keep things afloat.

what is the difference between a DBOX2 and a Dreambox??

are the setting up the same? as in putting an image on the Dreambox >> then put keys in >>> then services and bouquets >> plug in and scan ????

                        thanks

Try having a quick look round the forum mate ?the boxes are capable of accepting the fta images available, but the rest is upto you! And your questioning is abrupt to the point somewhat. People will help, but can't tell you how to steal be patient you will get there...
