hi everyone, ive been having problems with the dbox2 for thet past year. i finally got it working but only received 68 channels, i live in ireland and chorus has only gone digital in my town the past year. i have a few questions.. firstly i presume i should be getting more channels than this, i do get sky sports, 3 movies channels, setanta etc so i know its not just fta. im using an old image its the only one that worked for me with the irish cables files i found on the internet. is it anytthing to do with keys or roms why i am not receiving the rest of the channels? i dont really understand it fully, some channels do come in certain frequencies but it seems a lot are missing. any help would be greatly appreciated... also is it possible to get espn in? thanks

Hi dangermouse, try and scan both Ch****s and Ch****s cable.

ive done a scan on both, channels only appear on chorus bruteforce. i tried an older irish cables file and received less channels, is there an updated cables file i need??Comment

hi danger mouse what image are you running? have you put the new magic files on available from here Tools then you need to transfer ftp to box- The k#ys file goes in var/keys.
The emu goes in var/bin/emu when transferred you need to chmod it (dbox side) so after you transferred right click on the emu then scroll down to attributes and left click on it then change it from 644 to 755 then save.
when done re-scan box on bruteforceComment

hi, im using an andromeda v2.00 image i think its an old one but it seems to work for me. can u recommend a different image with keys and emu installed? ill give what u siad a try, thanksComment

hi tried that to no avail. i have updated them but still only getting same channels is there anything else i could do? ive tried a few different cable files and some get less channels on certain ones. would that be my problem maybe? i am unable to do a manual scan either as i have sr, freq etc.. for my area. thanks any help appreciatedComment

maybe something wrong with the image(corrupt) when you ftp`d to box did you put the right files in the right folders ,try a new image like comm11.3,check you have files in the var/keys folder on box,do you know someone near to copy there files if theres work..thought ireland was being hit bad....maybe someone else will postComment

if your going to use commando 11.3 then the magic files go in the folders on your dbox,
ftp to box- The k#ys file goes in var/keys
lib goes in lib.

when i say the files go in the folders i mean....the files that you find in magic files eg:the files "in k#ys" actually go inside the k#ys folder dbox sideComment
