    Youth protection

I've deleted all the adult channels and even the "adult" bouquet on my image but I am still getting rude/adult channels in my "unsorted" folder that I don't want the wee one to see. These channels can't be deleted and the unsorted folder is unlock-able. How do i fix this problem?

You need to "hide" the unsorted/other channels bouquet.
Depends on the image you're using.
Some have a Zapit config menu under Settings that make this easy.
Alternatively you could manually edit the zapit.conf file in /var/tuxbox/confg/zapit.
Via FTP add makeRemainingChannelsBouquet=0 (or false) to the end of the file, with a good text editor (don't use wordpad).

      Hi
this is how I remove unwanted channels then even after rescan no unwanted channels (if you want channels back just delete myservices file)

Backup your services file on your pc. Make a copy of services.xml to myservices.xml. In 'myservices.xml' edit the lines with the adult channel entries to include 'action=remove'

For example if a line reads:
      channel service_id="01fd" name="Red Hot Ladies" service_type="01"

      change it to:
      channel service_id="01fd" action="remove" name="Red Hot Ladies" service_type="01"

When you've changed all relevent entries (there may be several for each channel depending on the stream info), copy the 'myservices.xml' file across to the same directory the 'services.xml' file currently resides in. Restart your box and ~~~~ be gone!!

This method is slightly more complicated than simply removing the entries from services.xml, but does have the advantage that the autoscan of channels can be left on

      hope this may help

Tried this but you can't lock the Unsorted bouquets though for some reason. Nor can you delete the whole bouquet or delete individual channels. Even moving them to another bouquet such as Sport and deleting them in the doesn't work as the just re-appear on unsorted.

                    hi
to stop adult channels takes a bit of time but once done
if you save your zapit file on your pc with the services and edited myservices files you can ftp them to any image
you have this is what i do (if you what no adult leave my services in if not delete the mysevices file)
I do this on any image new flash or using a backed up image

Finally got round to sorting this problem and did it using the above advice. Took about ten minutes but very worth it.

                      Thank you

On a dbox2 using commando 10 put all adult channels into adult bouquet. Then go to adult bouquet again and press dbox button until it changes to lock at the bottom, if asked save and go to settings then youth protection then select appropiate age and promp for pin and save again and this worked for me.
