DBOX2 HELP NEEDED!!!!

just bought a second hand box of ebay its cum 2day and to cut a story short the wrong image has been loaded onto it and the screen is unreadable theres no damage to the screen its just got green lines all over it on the lcd display bit. ave i been ripped off or can i just reflash ? im askin this coz the seller only said it needed reflash.

what do you mean the wrong image?....as long as you can ftp,and you have the right files then you should be up n running in no time.....the lcd`s usually have lines on...they are about 10 year old!what happens when connected to tv??..

i agree with mickeydibble.most dboxs have stripes on the lcd.
good thing is..you dont need a perfect lcd to put stuff on the box

forget the lcd mate mine is crap as well ...just connect through ftp and flash away mate commando 11.3 is best, i`ll be here drinking wine n waiting for the good news

try a re-boot first....hold power button+channel up for a few seconds....wait for re-boot

Hi m8,
If the wrong image (i.e. 1x instead of 2x) has been flashed this would in 99% of cases lead to the message Keine System being displayed on the lcd and is nearly always recoverable. If you just get a green screen there is a good chance the unit was flashed incorrectly (flash with bootloader) and is buggered.
Do you get anything on the display numbers or letters?

To be honest it looks like you've been had, you could try connecting the dbox with a null modem and a crossover lead to your pc and see if it will give a boot log.
