Help 306 transponders but nochannels

im totally stumped. Flashed the latest Commando image, ftps'd all the magic files and set my location to telford and tried to scan on fast scan. No transponders were found and no channels were found. Tried Brute Force and it came up with 306 transponders and scanned for 40 minutes and came up with no channels or radio.
Where am i going wrong? can someone please help. iv spent hours on this now to no avail.

Did you have the channels on an earlier image ...........Paul

I had them on another box on which the antennae socket broke.. so got this one on fleabay and flashed it again. do u think i need to check the tuner? how would i do that anyway?

Did you chmod the cams??

yes the cams and the lib file to 755 and the keys i left them as it is.

What you mean lib file?you just change the attributes of the emu's. ??

i chmoded to 755 the libcrypto.so.0.9.7, evocamd and mgcamd. I uploaded the keys as they were.

Not at mydesk but just the emu's chmod I think ,sorry drinkin wine,and on xbox

Var/keys are the folders,open var,open keys:you will then have about 5/6 files,you copy these in(dbox side)open var,open keys,copy in here!

K*ys and camds have nothing to do with it not finding any channels when scanning.
if you have a nullmodem cable grab a bootlog and attach it here.

I do have null modem cable as i had to recover the box from a Kein System error. Can you let me know how to get the bootlog please? is there a guide on the site?

Have a read of PT-1's helpfile look under hardware/bootlog it explains how to get one.

is it worth me re-doing the transfer of the magic files again.. chmoding them again before going for the null modem cable as i will have to hook up my ancient system which does have an rs232 port on it?

Wont do any harm reflash it and start again.
