Dbox2 help please!!!!

Hi,

I'm having a on going problem with my sagam 1x box. The most channels i can get is 19. I've tried different images (latest i have is Commando 11.3). I've ftp the Teesside services and reload the channels. All the channel listings are showing, but when i try to do scan my bruteforce because it won't let me do fast scan, i lose all the channel listings and i'm back to 19. Any help please it's driving me crazy? Montana

Have you tried pressing blue button and setting your location, this will put the correct setting in service area ready for a fast scan.

I could be wrong but you may have to turn off fast scan if using brute force.

setting your location is the best and easiest way and select cableUk instead of brute force.

Sorry i mean't to say cableuk not bruteforce. Once i've selected my location for a fast scan and then i've gone to service scan and select fast scan, i get a error message "no channels were found! Please excute a scan. When fast scan is off i get a transponders: 0/303. In which i only get 19.

When doing scan, what does it say in netid and frequencey.

For Teeside it should be.

NetID 00010
Frequencey 571000
Symbol rate 6887

Hi,could you have overwrote the services file ,reflash but just use magic files,chmod emus,select location n scan

That is the netid and frequencey as above that i've got.

Where did you get your image from and magic files etc....

this might be a long shot you might have to delete the services
whats allready in before you scan,ie delete the services,reboot box,then go to set my location,then scan the box,i think when this image was created the services was still in

I got the image from downloads. And i downloaded the magic files i.e lib, var_bin_emu and var keys from the offical website.

This is what I am saying ,,Montana I thought with you putting com11.3. And then overwriting the service file with tee-side and then scanning on cableuk I'm.sure there would be a conflict.... But then u said you did what I suggested right?and checked that....

Yes that is correct. when ftp the services i did overwrite it.

after u transferred the service file across and reloaded channels don't scan.

if the channels then ain't working it's something else llike not chmod emu to 755

What I said before was start again but don't transfer your services it may conflict with the image.,I am no expert but this doesn't sound right .....thought you did what I said in previous post?phew. iPod typo is hard
