Dbox2 help please!!!!

You need to open the box up m8. There are diagrams on the net how to do it if you have a look around.

Are you still having the problem with it only finding 19 transponders when scanning?
on a working channel press red the blue and post the ber,snr and sig readings
do the same for a non working channel.
are the working channels all fta or do you get some of the others working aswell?

I had just changed the image to Andromeda again, and it's given me 41 transponders for which 9 are working fine and the rest are freezing.
Working channels - BER: max 37800 min 15210 - SNR: max 59434 min 56113 - SIG: 0
Freezing channels - BER: max 262143 min 10000 - SNR: MAX 48085 MIN 44396 - SIG 0

Only 1 asian channel that's not fta working.

The ber is to high and the snr is low on the freezing channels
check all your cable connections make sure none of the outer braid is touching the central copper core
if you have a splitter in the loop try a direct feed from the wall to the box no splitters
if the ber is still high get a slx1p booster from argos 9.99 and try that.

Hi the telephone modem is easy to remove,just open up box next to tuner is the telephone modem connected with 1screw and a 20 pin connector block take out screw and the modem will pull out,reboot box if still having same problem,does the tuner connection look like it as been altered(any solder you can see?)... M

I get 32 transponders on my balde quad image and just under 400- channels. That is all freeview and the Xtra ones. Try a differnet image also what box are you using as sagem do have problems with the tuner.

I've tried all the images on the download section. And yes i have a sagam. I had all the channels before I moved.

i agree with fergal ,think you need a booster mate as a last resort

hi did you try the gbox support pack i mentioned apparently the miniops werent right and maybe you should try this again from here http://www.mercs.us/crypt/gbox_support_pack_C11.3.rar think maybe you tryed this before phaphosAL corrected the file and therefore it would not boot up correctly....worth another try??? thnx micky see here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...lly-end-52493/ post 71 for info

I had ifa the C.11.3 X 1 (On 1st attempt had error message "image type not for my box" when it is a x1) So i converted it to x 1 and ftp gbox support pack and the magic files, but again no joy

I have brought slx1p booster. How do i use it on my box?
