    dbox 2 remote stopped working

    hi all anyone know how to fix a dbox 2 remote control that has stopped working? i have tried the batteries and the box is not responding.?

    Hi mate done this one before,just take it apart carefully and get a bit of sandpaper and clean just behind the infared bulb on the solder,better still if you have a solder gun just refresh the solder behind the bulb...

      was it ok after that mate? someone suggested it was probably the microchip thats went faulty?

        I have had a few mates with dodgy remotes and they worked after doing what I said ,they were nokia dbox remotes

            thanks guys took the remote control apart and ran a flat headed screwdriver over the solder joints behind the led and it worked fine

                        Take control apart carefully and just clean under where the ok button touches the board maybe it just needs a dust out
