hello everyone , my dbox was working fine , until i turned it off around 5 minutes ago , turned it on now , and it says no service available .

Well i would guess your cable has come out. Check and make sure the connection to the box is good and also check splitters are connected too

Have you rebooted the box ? If so , check the connections are ok on the cble feed m8. I know you have checked already, but take them out and make sure the f connectors are solid and none of them have come loose. Then if still no luck do a rescan

how do you do a proper rescan agen mate , cause everytime i hit rescan , it scans for 2 secs and comes back saying transpoders successful.Comment

as said select location if your image lets you what image are you on????
it kida goes like this but does depend on image what options you have:
1. Press "Dbox" on your remote
2. Select "services" from the menu
3. Select "Service Scan" (3rd down) from the menu
4. "Scan for Services" should be set to "TV & Radio" /vm style
5. "Bouquet" should be set to "Leave existing" press ok to scroll through
6. "Cable provider" should be set to Sym6887 for N*L or Sym 6952 for TellyPest /cable uk
7. "Fast Scan" should be set to off
8. Select "Start Scan"Comment
