cant us ifa anymore?

never had this problem before,im having to ftp the image into tmp,then do an update with remote,tried different versions of ifa, the only difference i can think is im using a newer version of bitdefender firewall/anti virus, but im even turning this off, any ideas, im using xp pro, do i need that patch or something? cheers

Sometimes IFA just doesn't work (no matter what people say here), probably a funny bug somewhere - but I'm no author.

There could be 3 problems:

1. I know for sure that IFA doesn't work when my PCI wireless (belkin) is enabled. Just right-click it in network window and disable it before starting IFA.

2. Sometimes fail when MS messenger is signed on. Just sign out.

3. I've seen it not work for no reason what so ever. But I've always got this way to work...
Install v2.3.1, and after setting it up and start, you'll notice there is a boot manager window that appears for a second and is minimised. Restore it and enter in your correct dbox2 ip and press start, then turn on dbox2. Not sure why it works, but it does.
