SAGEM D BOX ANY HELP PLEASE !

guys got a Sagem Dbox with BIG freezing problems.....


On the FIRST FREEZE UP....
Change it to ANY other channel then back to the channel you were watching.
It is fine for about 90 minutes to 2 hours then it will FREEZE again.

On the SECOND FREEZE UP......
Change it to ANY other channel ALL you get is the Mini bar Info Screen with NO PICTURE and a Dialogue box with ERROR ! CHANNEL NOT AVAILABLE ( this happens on all channels ).

YOUR'E ONLY ALTERNATIVES ARE......

1.REBOOT ( BUT IT WILL FREEZE AGAIN WITHIN 15 MINS ! )

OR

2.PULL THE PLUG OUT TO CLEAR AND RESET IT.


WHEN YOU GET CHANNEL NOT AVAILABLE

1.PULL THE PLUG OUT & PUT BACK IN AGAIN TO RESET IT.
2.WHEN OR IF IT FREEZE / HANGS UP. CHANGE TO ANY OTHER CHANNEL THEN BACK TO THE ONE YOU WERE WATCHING
3.DISPLAYS WORNG TIME IN CLOCK & PROGRAMMES ARE NOT UP TO DATE,.

ANY HELP ? Would be gratefull !

Don't have any guide or operating instructions.
I'm a complete newbie to this !

Any chance of getting a step-by-step guide on how to reflash the Sagem image mate ?

Hi M8 just goto the download section in this forum and you will find all the documentation needed to learn how to reflash you Dbox

If you dont have permission then you will have to post a few more messages and wait an hour for access.

Guys,
Got the Sagem Dbox2 reflashed

It has the Sportster Pro image now had big probs with Laky Pro 1 on it and the problem now with Sportster Pro being that the Picture blanks out to a black screen.
Wots going on here ?

I noticed before somewhere on the site that some one else was having the same prob or a similar prob.

The OSD ( On Screen Display ) mini bar info displays the
BER @ 0%
SNR @ 97%
Signal @ 0%

BUT ! When u change channels a couple of times the red bar meter for the BER goes from 0% to 30% for some reason !

Does this make any sense to anybody ?
Any ideas what I should do to correct the prob.

Iwould re flash it with a g box image Like Blade
And add a booster to up the signal
If that dont get a result
It aint lookin to good .....Paul

try changing the ucode.usually accessable by pressing the blue button on remote

I must agree with plasterer, the xenafan's images (blade and others) are top notch when it comes to dodgy sagems... gbox rules for that. There are plently of different version of the images to try and some work better on different boxes.
