Tell us EXACTLY what you see on the LCD of one of them as you power it up, please.

I bet you a pound to a piece of shite that they're already in dbug mode, m8. And that you just need to flash a decent image and learn a little bit about FTP and (possibly) telnet.

    Cheers- AL

Is your box amd or intel chips?? you will need to lift of the top cover to find out. When box boots up do you get betaresearch on lcd or the bmon screen??

You can normally see through the air vents in the top of the box with a torch, or under a light what chipset is in the box,

just to save the hassle of having to open it up.

you can peer through the vents to see if it is a 1 or 2 chip on the sagems, but as we know nokias are 2 chips. To determine whether or not they are are amd or intel chips you will need to take the cover off, probably brush the dust off chips to be able to see the writing. you need to use a different debug method
                if its amd chips.

Well i've never had to take the lid off one to see the chipset, if you know where to look it can be seen through the vents whether they are intel or amd, 1X or 2X.

                          I think it should read
?I, Barnsley Bill, have the offending item, the Nokia Dbox2, and yes, it does have 2 central processing units. The bad news, I?m afraid, is unfortunately, Mr Rajapaskistani forgot to include the remote control when sending the aforementioned item. I would like to ascertain where Mr Rajapaskistani purchased this and his other item, as they are not in the condition one would expect, i.e. they are not in the debugged mode and show the current operating system as BMON 1.0. However as Mr Rajapaskistani is a charming, gracious and respectful gentleman I will proceed to help him and hopefully resolve this unacceptable predicament he currently finds himself in.?
