My terrestial channels,Sky1 and some others are distorted and the sound is intermitant (like the guy with a dodgy microphone) Is it my tuner is on the way out?

Thanks for that info mate,but i have done all that. Moved BBC1,2 ITV and Channel 4 to a different location but still the same

press red / blue buttons on dodgy channel and if the snr is below 55k try moving the checking thecable input at the back of the box, they become loose, i have to move mine slightly sometimes to improve the snr.

Be warned removing or replacing the cable feed when the box is on can sometimes deal a fatal blow to the box.
