Please help my dbox lost channels ive tried to scann but keeps telling me transponder failed . It also says network setting Defalt gateway is unreachable DNS Server unreachable ... dont no what i need to do . My location is liverpool .

Have you paid any subscription to virgin. It could be a firewall blocking it. Turn your firewalls off and check you have the correct network settings.
Make sure the cable is connected properly and try it without any splitters in.

The network settings are for connecting you box to your pc so you can ftp into the box. They have nothing to do with your area. Did you check your firewall etc.

Is the cable feed going into your box connected ok ? Is it loose anywhere

have you got the right scan settings for your area?,also do you have a set my location option under the blue button ? you mmay have to ftp to your box if this dont work....mComment

Cable is fine I had already checked and double checked that . Any other suggestions . xComment

Remove any splitters from the line. Did you keep a backup of your image or your service files at all.
