channel info on screen but no picture!!?

hi..i am new to all this. i recently purchased a dbox2(sagem),on it wasa blade trinity image but i could not get any picture-just the channel list on screen.had it flashed today with commando 10...and amstill getting the same problem??? any help is much appreciated ....
doi need to have my virgin card in the dbox card slots?? thanks

waiting for time... this is all i get on each channel before channel not available comes up. cant even get free to air channels???

Have you ran a scan. I presume that whoever flshd the box put all files needed on the box.do a scan see what happens

its iether blue button ,set location and then scan...not sure on com 10...or something like this:

1. Press "Dbox" on your remote
2. Select "services" from the menu
3. Select "Service Scan" (3rd down) from the menu
4. "Scan for Services" should be set to "TV & Radio"
5. "Bouquet" should be set to "Leave existing" press ok to scroll through
6. "Cable provider" should be set to Sym6887 for N*L or Sym 6952 for TellyPest
7. "Fast Scan" should be set to off... or try fast scan
8. Select "Start Scan"

i have performed both types ofscan,i now have no channels and the message...
error,no channels found please perform a scan??

If you did as micky said and pressed the blue button and done the setmylocation feature and after it rebooted changed the symbolrate to your area then pressed red to save and it still never found any channels
try turning fast scan off then red to save and blue to do a slow scan see if it finds any taransponders and channels then.

Ok so you got n incomplete image, but seems like you need the correct files on box do you know how to FTP ?

changed area location to cardiff(nerest location to me),rebooted,done another scan...stillsaying no channels found...earlier on i had a full list of channels but no picture.......this is confusing ..

Have you a sub/ live feed cable from vm. You may need to transfer some files to your box with ftp. Namely the rom 7. Fix or maybe more

yeah i havealive feed,it was installed last friday,works perfect on theorigional vbox they gave me!
sorry to be a pest but could you instruct me how i would do this "ftp the rom7"and what i will need to dothis? thanks very much

Try turning fast scan off then red to save and do a slow scan
does it find transponders when doing this

Try flashing a different image if nothing else works. I had same problem with Enigtrino2 and it was driving me up the wall, until I flashed another image last night. Now everythings fine.
