Listen- I'm not trying to piss on anyone's fire here, but a fiver 'all-in' (by which I assume you mean inc P&P) is really taking the mickey, m8!!

?18 plus P&P from Germany is the going rate- and that's come down a bit in the past few months, too. They used to be ?25 or more, exc P&P.

Have you noticed the considerable drop in price for cable boxes on that site as opposed to sat tuner boxes?

The cable tuner boxes used to be more than the sat boxes, but now around half the price now compared to sat tuner boxes!

Maybe 5 quid for a display out of a (soon to be) defunkt cable box aint that bad?

as far as I know, when the last time the dbox worked, the LCD was fine.

if when you get the item it is faulty then I will do a refund, cant be fairer than that

also is this for a sagem or a nokia - I assume both LCD's are identical.

The lcd panel itself is identical for nokia and sagem. But the ribbon cable for sagem is much longer than the nokia one.

So a sagem LCD will fit both makes OK. What you can't do, is use a nokia lcd in a sagem, as the ribbon is way too short to reach the mobo socket.

Warning: Make sure mains power to dbox is OFF before removing LCD ribbon cable from mobo- or the CPU will be fried!!
