vlc media player help

hi there i have just sussed how to stream from pc to dbox was working fine last night but tday its got a load of green stripes down the screen i thought it was something to do with vlc so i deleated it from pc and then reinstalled it but still the same i have tried the latest 1 and 0.86 can any 1 help pls pls pls

usually when it happens on the tv you go to dbox,settings,video and change the format to autodetect or 16.9 then home and red to save settings.
also try the video settings in vlc if doing the above dont work.
