Hi,

I want to hide or preferably remove the adult channels from one of my dboxes. Can anybody tell me if i can do this or some method of locking them out ?

Why not lock the channels down. So that no-one can access them

press dbox/service/boquet editor,all boquets visible on bottom...red = delete...green add....yellow move..blue rename if you press dbox this changes blue button to lock,just go to boquettes you want to lock and press blue button

Followed the instructions to lock the channel and placed the key icon next to it. Saved changes and the channel is available as normal. Should I be given the prompt to pick a password or something like that ?

Remember to "save your settings" after you finish..

I find the easiest way of doing this is to go into Bouquet Editor and delete your 'Adult' bouquet.

All the pr0n channels will now show in 'Unsorted' and will still show as you channel up / dn on the R/C. So then you go into Settings > Misc > Zapit Config and set Show Unsorted Bouquet? to NO and Save.

Also in the Scan Menu, make sure AutoScan is OFF as well. Now those channels will be totally gone (although they still exist in services.xml)

If you want to watch them, just set Show Unsorted Bouquet? back to YES

i used boquet editor...connected the box to my lappy....and deleted the service in the left hand side of the window of boquet editor....right click on say "adult channel"...and select "delete service"...do that for each one, or any channels that you dont want and upload back to your dbox2..job done....good luck..
