Sagem Dbox2 Power Problem

I bought a dbox off ebay. . .thinking i could fix it..

It doesnt turn on at all. .

opened it up to see there is no fuse inside..

i gathered info (from using the search to find another thread)
That its a 630ma Fuse

but is this a glass quickblow or a time glass delay one?

Some help me...

The fuse you need for your dbox is a T 2.5AH ceramic time delay fuse.

i bought a 630ma as i saw a diff thread but that didnt work ill give it a shot with what you got

the good thing about sagems is there power supply is on a seperate board unlike nokias, so instead of replacing the full box you could try and get just a power board m8

To tell what fuse your equipment needs all you have to do is look on the power board near the fuse holder there will be some writing that looks a bit like this T 2.5AH. If you look there will be a letter at the beginning this tells you what kind of fuse you need. (T) means you will need a Time Delay fuse. (F) means you need a Quick Blow fuse. Then there will be some numbers this tells you the amp of the fuse you need so if you see T 2.5AH then that means you need a Time delay fuse which is 2.5 Amps...

on the other side of the T2.5 bit,
it says F1
could that mean a quickblow fuse?

The letter in front off the numbers is what tells you what fuse you need.
When you put the time delay fuse in did any thing happen?
If not then sounds like the power board as gone.

EDIT: The F1 is there for the assemblers it is there reference to put what component where.

they can blow in these for no apparent reason,it is a 2.5a fast blow and change c1 also.
these boxes are getting on a bit now and not worth it,they can start to cook at the voltage regulator and are really beyond life,nokia power supply is much better then these.
