Nokia Dbox2 / Commander 11 / Scanning

Hello,

My situation:

Put latest commando 11 image onto the dbox. Went to scan and...

After 4 seconds, i get the message "Transponderscan finished successfully" but quite obviously there are no channels or anything. I havent set a location like i use to on my blade trinity but i dont believe im meant to on this image. Can anyone advise me on what i should do?

I have just successful installed the magic files as well but still getting the same problem of the scan finishing after a few seconds with no channels found!! arggg! stuck! am i not getting a signal or is something still not set up correctly?

I'm almost there i think. However:

I'm only getting the FTA channels when i have put the magic files on the dbox and turned both of the cams on. What am i doing wrong now?

only have one camd on i use evocamd

Okay. Ive altered it so that only the evo cam is on. Didnt get any changes in my tv list so i guess i need to rescan? Wish scanning was quicker! Thanks for help! hope this works now.

leave on a blank channel like ss1 for 5 mins
should be able to fast scan now try it m8...

aww. im a tit. did the slow scan again. 25 minutes to wait. grr. ill let you know how it goes. thanks again for your help! doesnt matter how many times i read a guide, i always need people like you to get me over the final hurdle so your help is much appreciated.

think you can cancel and run a fast scan

well i rescanned, and i got the same number of channels. I dont have ss1 or any other channels so can't leave it on there to update. only got 46 tv channels and 18 radio channels. is there anything else i can do or check so i can get stuff like ss1?

sure the magic files you put in the right place and did you chmod the cams

Did you chmodd 755 evocamd after transfering it to the box?
also look through the dbox button menu and enable the softcam then leave it on a blank channel for 5 mins
you should get more than 46 channels make sure you have chosen your correct loacation.

I can confirm the magic files are in the right place with chmodd set to 755 after transferring it to the box as shown in these two screenshots:

in my magic files rar i had a /lib folder containing a file called libcrypto.so.0.9.7 . do i need this to be moved across? there is no /lib on the dbox though and this wasnt mentioned in the guides - just making sure.

enabled softcam : EvoCamd is on - v2.14.

yes, i thought that was a low number of channels - doubled check and ive selected Bournemouth which is where im situated at.
