      ok done. i tried to a fast rescan after doing this and it doesnt work for me. says no channels are found. so now doin another slow one but once again its not picking up many channels...

        just re-boot box...hold power button and channel up button in till re-boot goto ss1 in the bouquet leave for 5mins see if it comes back

          rebooted box. i don't have ss1 in my bouquet to go to. dont have any sports channels for that matter.

            Have you tryed changing ucodes? Also under service scan you can set bouquet. To. Vm style. Where did you get the image from?

              Hi m8,

              Still looks to me as though the box is not scanning correctly, I would go into the scan menu and change the service provider to "bruteforce" and turn off fast scan then rescan.
              The image you are using should have a "lib" folder and therefore you should not have needed to create this, so have a good look in all the folders on the dbox.
              The magic files do not affect the scanning so once we have you scanning correctly and picking up more channels (as fergal posted 46 is not enough) we will be able to sort the rest.
              Also signal strength can affect this so if using a splitter try connecting dbox to direct feed and rescan.
