All channel gone - portsmouth area

all the channels seems to have gone from my Dbox today! anyone else in portsmouth/ gosport has had the same problem?

I just called virgin and they told me that there is no problem with the area

Hi Im in Fareham. Lost all Channels as well. Signal strength and quality is showing as good, but freeview channels DATA INVALID and Virgin/Sky SCRAMBLED. looks like weve been blated.

How long has your box been down. 10 mins?

Give it 2-3 hours.
Tests are being implemented area by area and channels will be moved etc.

So it will come back.

This applys to all in the areas mentioned above.

PS VM wont tell you anything unless you tell them its your dodgy box thats down and not theyre one.

So WAIT!

The portsmouth/Gosport areas seem to still be down for the last 36 hours (So I have just been advised).... Can anybody down there confirm this please...

So far i understand that it/was limited to dm and dbox, eurovox users seem to be ok... if its still down tonight do a rescan (not a bruteforce but on the other options and you should get them back but the channels may have been shuffled..

was same in south yorkshire this morning was very worried rebooted box did bruteforce scan sorted

Well the bruteforce has brought back the movies and sports but still missing some music mtv etc, so my advice is just be patient and rescan in a few hours when virmin finish mucking about.
