D-BOX 2 GONE MENTAL! Only making me scan for Satellites!
D-BOX 2 GONE MENTAL! Only making me scan for Satellites!
Really weird this one lads, when I go to service scan, it's got the option of scanning 19.2e, but that's it! It does not give me any option of scanning cable!
I know its obvious but have you tried reflashing the image, also check the Cables.xml file, need more info, do you make any changes before this happened...
wot image you running on it
Try as above Reflash
If thats the same ,it points to possibly the tuner goofed
As they default to sat when Knackerd..................Paul

Currently using commando, not sure of the version.
I'll try flashing a new image (can anybody recommend a good new one as I like tinkering) ?????
I fear that the tuner is ~~~~ed as this has never happened before......
Ive been doing fast scans every day for last few days as channels keep dissapearing! Hwence wear and tear on my tuner perhaps!?!?
If your still picking up some channels then your tuner will be ok.......
Try flashing with Commando 11.3, it's the latest and in my opinion the best image available for the dBox. It'll allow you to tinker till your hearts content!!
Sorted. I re-flashed using laky pro and it now allows me to scan again, thank god! I was actually using commando 11.3 already, but couldnt find another copy of it so just went ahead and flashed laky pro. Im glad the tuner aint gone, theres still some life in the old dog yet!
Glad to hear your all sorted, though a reflash seemed an obvious first step, for me anyway, good to know some of the other symptoms a corrupt image can cause...
