help needed with commando 12.....please

hi there,
flashed commando 12 image to dbox2 successfully
tried for the first time to ftp files to dbox2,using flash fxp
downloaded the "magic files" opened the folders in fxp,left side.dragged files over to right side .changed the 644 to 755
in the attributes and ftp'ed to dbox2....said sent successfully
set address/scanned got 33 transponders and 280 channels,
but only shows fta channels....all epg is there but blank screen on say skysp.1 ....tried reset cams

i dont know what else to try,im obviously doing something wrong.....please,please help if you can

did u drag the files or folders across, u haven't created another folder have u ie /var/bin/emu/emu?

hi metman,
on the left screen,iwent desktop,clicked on the saved real magic files folder,filled the right side,quick connect.i then just dragged and dropped the file over and sent.
this worked with the tarball files ,as they are in dbox

oppened the file,it has three folders
lib
var.bin.emu
var .keys

seems ok, activate 1 cam only, try mgcamd if no luck with evocamd.....

says transferred 1 file totalling 150kb

same as
am i surposed to see it in manual add-on? ..[.i dont]
do i have to do anything to dbox ?

so u added all the cams from the magic files to the var/bin/emu, the keys to the var/keys and the lib file to the lib folder....chmod 755 to cams and lib file and all should be ok

Thanks for the info, i was a bit confused as to where to put magic files, i created new folder in the root.

Do i also need a cam to get channels?

i have just installed the new comando 12 image

shouldn't need to create new folder in root as lib folder should be there, other folders in var, var/bin
