hi all can a nokia dbox2 sat be flash to run on cable as services/scand/sat dont change when image is up loaded?
same in rs232 /rj45

hi I've taken the top off and its definely a cable tuner in the box ref. on sticker DF1CS1121 the guy I got it from I think tried to load the wrong software and may have locked it to sat instead of cable.


any way to change it back to cable operation ?

How do I factory reset ?

I have reflashed with various images both through FTP and nul cable

I purchased the box when it was in klein system mode.

a complete flash with bootloader will not go on through FTP as it sas cannot open file after its been loaded.

under null cable it loads the image but all I get in services scan is Satellite settings not cable settings.

scan the cable services,also you flash without bootloader

yes it is the tuner but i can repair it but i need the full part number for the bfg94 trawsistor chip its a npn360mw but i do need the full part number do anyone know this? it can only be ?2/3eur

You can buy BFG 94 transistors from any RS suppliers, I got 5 for a fiver as it was cheaper than buying one, and its in the catalogue as a BFG 94. Its a quite tricky job but it can be done.....I have a spare one if you are local to Notts or try here Welcome to rswww.com just type in BFG94 in the browser but pick them up from a local store or they will charge you p+p.....
