Hi, I'm new to dbox. I have a dbox sagem. Alot of the channels on tv mode are blank. But can get sound and some picture on radio mode. Can anyone help please??

A bit more information would be good, like which image you are using? My guess is that you have FTA channels only, you won't get anything else unless you add keys etc and start up a cam, not that I'd condone doing so unless you are a paying subscriber to the non FTA channels. As far as the radio goes obviously you wont get pictures, just sound and an epg.
Use an image with a set my location function, set your location and reboot. Then do a channel search to create a services file in /var/tuxbox/zapit, then create your own bouquets file in the same directory as required, then add keys folder (noting the above comments) and start a cam via the dbox menu, wait for the au to pick up the keys (some minutes) and off you go.

To be honest I wouldn't be sure where to look for the information i.e images. etc..
I've scanned manual on 6887. it only give me 40 basic channels. But I had been trying fast scan which didn't work for a bit. But then it did still not giving all channels.
As alot of the channels like DMAX were blank with no sound. On radio mode you could see some of the DMAX picture with sound, to reason why i'm confused.
Do i need to be connect to internet, if so how and what cables would I need???Comment
