no channels found using blade

hi i really hope somebody can help me i am using dbox, with blade quad image had all channels however bbc 1 and bbc 2 went so i did a service scan but it returned no channels whatsoever, i have reflashed the box with same image again, but still no luck, i know the tuner works fine because at one stage it picked up some channels but after that i lost them

i have saved location many times, restarted box then tried changing the settings so many times i just dont know what i need to change,
i have kept the scan, settings as all
bouquets leave current
cable provider 6952 since i am ngl
scan mode complete
fre 803000
modulation qam auto
symbol rate 6887
cable vm
net id 00017
section scan off

i have also altered these many times to no avail
i really hope someone can help me

your Sym rate and provider should be the same mate .....Paul

Still not working

Hi I tried changing the symbol rate to match the same as the provider and tried both 6952 and 6887 still no luck after scanning, is there sum thing else I can try? Because ideally I would like to keep this image as I heard Its best one, if worse comes to worse shud i flash with new image?

As paul says keep your provider and symbolrate the same
turn fast scan off then press red to save and try a slow on both
what area are you in.

hi fergal, I just tried again what you said however still no luck I assume when you say fast scan on this image it refers to sections scan? I am in hemel Hempstead area, is there something else I have to change because a few months ago this same problem happened to me I coudlbt scan for any channels then someone on here told me or it might have been another forum told me to change something in this service scan section but now I can't find that page anywhere , I did save it as favourite however laptop has been formatted since! Any other ideas please, am slowly losing my mind

Forget about sections scan that is for scanning in the backgroun turn it on anyways.
if you have a vm box go into the eng menu and check the frequency,netid and symbol rate is the same as in the service scan menu on the dbox.

hi mate, i dont any other boxes i only have this one sagem dbox, which i only got a couple of months ago, however i would say i got a friend nearby same town got same box and when he scans his settings are exactly same, we got same box and same image aswell. can anyone shed any light on this for me??

JUst FTP his services and bow k s to a pc
Then send them back to yours
they go into
var/tuxbox/config/zapit
