Performance issues with Dbox 2 - normal or not?

    Hello there.

I've got a Sagem Dbox 2 running Blade Trinity and it works ok (in that I get view all the channels) but it seems to freeze after about an hour or so.

When it does this, the only way to unfreeze it is to reboot the box. I've tried different cams (evocamd, gbox, mgcamd, newcamd) but they all have the same problem.

Is this normal, or should I be looking at ways to fix this?

Would a new image help? I'm not quite sure what the "image" actually does. Am I right in saying that the image is mainly the GUI and it's the cam that decodes the stream, so a new image using the same cams should have the same issues?

I was thinking of flashing Blade Quad. onto it but thought I'd check if it will make any differnce first.

keep trying diff images, diff ucodes, diff cams (usually gbox most stable for dodgy sagems) 'till u find 1 that most suits ur box.

chk snr on dodgy channel red/blue if around or below 55K try a booster

    cheers

      Thanks,

So what would you say would be normal, in terms of freezing?

Every couple of hours or so or maybe even al day with a good image/cam combination ?

difficult to say each box seems to like a certain img

most peeps use gbox cam for freezing channels and 001A or 00!4 for Ucode

        cheers
