when scanning what did u do?Hi folks, made a hash of a friends sagem dbox2, im in need of some info quick if you dont mind people, got a dbox off a friend who lost most of his channels a couple of weeks back, me in my wisdom said bring it up, i flashed my digivox, can flash xbox modems blah de blah, so had it 10 mins and now have no channels and black screen, saw a tut to rescan followed to get to transponders, been scanning for 15 mins now and there is absolutly nothing happening, well, the little radar thingy is going but nothing is registering, it had commando 10 on it i think, can someone advise me on where i should start here, i'd be very greatful for any help, as i've never touched a dbox b4, thanks
set ur location etc? -
hi m8, tried to follow this which fergal suggested
"Press blue button and do the setmylocation feature then go to then scan menu change provider to the same as the symbol rate turn fast scan on then press red to save then blue to scan."
wasnt to sure about my area, glasgow 1 or 2 so tried both, but i wasnt 2 sure what he meant by "change provider to the same as the symbol rate"
i tried turning the scan off after 25 mins but it just froze, so i unplugged and started again and it says " need to scan" then tells me dbox>sevices but im kinda worried i might completly ~~~~ it up if i havnt already
, dont mind trying to flash if i need to but i'd rather not if it can be helped, its ok to mess around with your own, but when its someone elses im a bit dubious
ok i've found how to change freq, symbol rate etc, will i need to change any these settings, im in north lanarkshire and settings are
netid 41048
freq 666750
symbol rate 6952
when starting service scan i get:
cable: cable uk
transponders: then nothing
frequency:as above
provider: nothing
channel; nothing
sorry for the hassle guysLast edited by tommy2426; 11 February, 2010, 21:38.Comment
