Commando 12 - IDE in menu

I have installed C12 and have also installed the update files, initally I could see the IDE setup in the Commando menu, however it has no gone after a reboot. I re flashed the image and added all necessary files, but still no IDE setuop menu. Additionally, on one reboot I got the "KIEN SYSTEM" so again reflashed image with IFA, still no IDE in menu???

I am thinking of going back to C11.3, very frustrating.

You will only see the IDE-HDD Menu if you install the XFS Add-On, m8. If your box is permanently connected to the net via your router, then this install can be done online for you in the Online Add-On Modules menu.

If not, you can install it manually, by FTP'ing xfs.tar.bz2 (from the add-ons pack included with the C12 image) to the /tmp folder. XFS will then show in the Manual Add-Ons menu, for installation.
