bouquets editor help

Hi guys, I rescanned my box the other night after they re-jigged all the channels in south lanarkshire and everything is back for now but when i edit the bouquet on my pc then ftp the file back across it never picks up the order i want to place it in, has something changed in the services or bouquet files in this change? I used to when a channel changed just edit using editpad and the channels would be in the setup i like but now i have channels all over the place and it is making me confuzzled

sounds like the img may have gone read-only....reflash the basic img, set ur location, rescan and try again.

back up ur img first and transfer the service file to save u having to scan

thanks for the help MetMan but still no joy. I cannot understand why it won't work now. here is what i did.

Flashed Commando 12 (from this site thanks)
let it reboot then stuck on the keys and cams i had ftp'd from my box before flash. (I was using andromeda 2.0)
rebooted the box then scanned for services.
It then found all channels but in random order so I ftp'd off the bouquet file and modified it to the channel line up i want.
Ftp'd the bouquet back and i still get the channels to work, however this is the strange part it is no longer in the jumbled up scanned order but it is also not in the order i edited it to, it is now in a completely different order.

I have chmod'd the files and made sure they were not write only however i still get the jumbled order.

again any help guys much apprecieted

i don't use c12 but i just did exactly the same as what u did and bouquet sorted no probs.......like i said u prob had a bad flash and the img is read-only.....reflash the downloaded c12 and try again.....only takes minutes

ps no need to chmod bouquet

Thanks Metman for taking the time to help but i still couldn't figure it out, so i downloaded rukowski file and boabs yer auntie it works! need to figure out how i arsed up using the bouquet editornow as i was really stumped.
