Disappearing Channels

Can someone help plz. I have recently updated my image to Virgin Lite 3.0 and have also updated the keys. I selected sky sports 1 and then rescanned after rescan i was only able to receive sky sports for about 30 secs then it disappeared along with all the other non-fta channels. Any advice will be gratefully received.

if i was you mate i would have a play with your ucodes, and try reseting the cam, if you have not already.

OK thanx, are there any tutorials to explain to me how to do this

Press the blue button and look through the menu's for ucodes and choose a different ucode
did you transfer the camd over to the image and chmod 755 the attributes

Which softcams do you see listed?

More to the point, how many show as being ON ??

hi mate sly 1 has total gone for me with half of my other channels changed images on dream and d both boxes have lost the same channels totally dissappered .

The softcams listed
evocamd
mgcamd
both are on

and my ucode options are
ucode_0014.bin
ucode_001A.bin

I live in Fife where cand i find the correct ucodes for my area, thanx

Did you chmod the camds after transfering them to the box
you should only have one camd switched on turn mgcamd off
use ucode0014 for nokia and ucode001A for sagem
it might be advisable to reflash it as it might have got corrupt and went read only.

hi done as you said ferg then put my area back in and scan still the same i get some sly channels also most fta and channels i can not get they say errort as if it finds them egp but black screen and error message done the same with my mate d and it does the same only get a scan list called unknown provider same on dream....

Try a direct feed no splitters, also try a slow scan what area you in

cheers for the advice mate i took of my booster and connected direct in to the boxs scanned all ok weired i once needed the booster to get these channels now i dont

I'm having a similar problem with my Dbox2 running Commando Image. Not getting some channels. I tried my box at my parents place which is Ex-CW (I am at ex-Telewest) and I got all the channels there but I don't get them all at my place. Any help will be appreciated.
