sorry, using cross over cable. Install images with ifa no problem using same cable.

Put all zero's in these (they will go blank) then make sure start network is set to on then save settings and restart network in fact reboot the box and check they have saved

                  Dbox
                  broadcast 0.0.0.0.
                  default gateway 0.0.0.0
                  dns server 0.0.0.0

                  Pc
                  default gateway leave blank

By the way the above is for connecting pc directley to the box no router

                    ok

pc wont let me leave ip in with zeros for subnet mask.
Cleared digits on dbox, reboot and new ip address 192.168.0.24
                    subnet 255 255 255 0
                    broadcast blank
                    default and dns 192.168.0.1

you are a genius and i owe you a pint. Clearing them off for some reason low lets me use flash with one digit less on ip. Thanks.

One more question? Which files do i need to add to the image??

                      Thanks

I did not say put the zero's in the subnet mask i said default gateway leave blank

Lets start again give your dbox a ip of 192.168.1.24 subnet 255.255.255.0
ALL other boxes leave blank press red to save the reboot the box

                        PC
Give it a static ip of 192.168.1.23 subnet 255.255.255.0
ALL other boxes leave blank and try that
this is all explained in the flashfxp guide in the downloads here
