if your still stuck with those adult channels, ultraphat apocalypse image automatically hides and lock-enables adult channels after a scan. all you have to do is turn the lock bouquet feature on and set your pincode in...

    Settings > Youth protection

set prompt for PIN setting to "on locked bouquets"
set change PIN code from "0000" to whatever you want

Story so far, i've tried altering the Zapit.conf file. Nothing happened.
In the end i had to edit the bouqutes and services files. but i still have the unsorted bouquet. I guess i'll have to hide them.
Ideally it would be nice to get rid of it.

      thanks for all your help

But who said anything about touching the zapit.conf file?

Did I not point you to the Zapit Config Menu ???

PAP, i did a search and found a thread about this. This was before you replied. Anyway this person, PT, i think, suggested adding that line to the Zapit.conf file. But it did not work for me.
Your suggestion worked. I am stripping down all the channels that i don't need. The image is a bit grainy and freezing, so i will play with the settings that you suggested.
          I'll report back later.

            hi
I removed adult channels by editing myservices file stops channels even after scan
just delete myservices if you want channels back

Backup your services file on your pc. Make a copy of services.xml rename to myservices.xml.
In 'myservices.xml' edit the lines with the adult channel entries to include 'action=remove'

For example if a line reads:
            channel service_id="01fd" name="Red Hot Ladies" service_type="01"

            change it to:
            channel service_id="01fd" action="remove" name="Red Hot Ladies" service_type="01"

When you've changed all relevent entries (there may be several for each channel depending on the stream info),
copy the 'myservices.xml' file across to the same directory the 'services.xml' file currently resides in.
Restart your box and ~~~~ be gone!!

              Bob114, thanks for your reply.
what i've been doing is actually removing the whole line from the services file. i also edit the listing from the bouquets.
But obviously if i rescan, the channels will come back.
I think i will do what you suggests. I've always wondered how the myservices file came about?
So, to recap,in my Zapit folder, i should have these 3 files

              Bouquets.xml
              myservices.xml
              services.xml

I will tackle that this weekend.
What box and image are you using? I'm looking for a 1x img for a Sagem.

Whilst it's good housekeeping to also remove the redundant lines from bouquets.xml too, this isn't strictly necessary. If a particular service doesn't exist in services.xml - then it won't display in Bouquets!

Trust me- try it. And if you're on C12 or V+3 - then there should be an epgfilter.xml file in the /zapit folder as well.

                Cheers- AL
