picture freezing

Hi everyone, I am new to this site & after extreme headache (from hitting it against the wall) I am trying to get some info.
Nokia DBOX2 (LAKEY PRO), set works fine for about an hour, then picture freezes & no sound, box is totally un-responsive & has to be un plugged from the main power supply & then powered up again. I have got a new (re-furbed) tuner, but am struggling to find where I can get it fitted,(Liverpool area) as de-soldering & soldering are not that high on my list of skills.
Any help / advice would be appreciated.

Are you using a cable splitter as some of them that are around are not very good

Yes was using a cable splitter, but then connected straight to virgin feed & box still only lasts for about 1 hour then freezes, it's as if something overheats & stops the box?

May be worth trying another image as most are trial and error to your own box also VM are always changing the K*Ys so it may be that your roll over key is just trying to get the next key as it is changed. Mine freezes from time to time but all i do is go up a channel the back again this works for me.

Once the box freezes it will not respond to the remote or anything else, the only thing I can do is un plug it, I have a second box with the same image on it (put on by the same person) and have no problems at all with that box??????

You could try a different emu if not already as the mgcam is not working very well at the mo

think i would try another image as not all box,s are the same

emu settings in the blue button.? try evocam
