Sudden loss of channels - possible booster problem?

Hello All,

I'm in need of advise on the following situation please. I have lost ALL CHANNELS on both my dboxs all of a sudden. Details:

Image: Latest Commando V12 with Update + magic files
Booster: Konig 2 way booster CATV
Nokia Dbox2

All my dbox reports is that "epg loading - hang on" and "no channel found" even for BBC, 2 and ITV1. I'm obviously not getting sly spurts or any of its fellow channels! I'm stuck, all connections outside haven't been disturbed for a very long time; however i have checked those, completely fine.

I've tried connection supply directly to the box, to no avail. i'm in need of some advise. all i can think is that it may be my booster has let go.

i looked at a website for possible area faults, and it is reported that London is "experiencing all services are down" but that was updated to have been rectified as of today???!!!!

Is your epg working?

If your epg is working but no channels are displaying then you're probably stuffed fella.

oh no me EPG is def not working. it keeps saying "epg loading - hang on"

It's possible that your area has just upgraded to the new 'one size fits all' Channel Map.

Carry out a Fast Scan with VM Bouquets, which takes 3 minutes. If you've never done this before, then you'll need to Set My Location in the blue button menus.

If you don't know where you live, then it's a 30 minute Brute Force Scan jobbie. But before this will work, you need to Update to C12.1.2 issued 1st March 2010 which is on here as a manual update. (You might have to scroll down a few pages to find it, thanks to very little in the way of Feedback, allowing that thread to sink....)

If none of that works- bend over backwards and kiss your ass goodbye, welcome to n3!! Bona fid? hackers know when n3 is due, coz they get a shiny new card for their subbed box, LOL!
