    DBOX2 and S/PDIF

    Hi can anyone help me on this one I have a DBox2 x2 intel with commando 12 with magic files on, all works fine but today i picked up a digital optical cable hoping to connect it to my sony AV amp and guess what? no sound checked the menu and cant seem to find any way to output via optical RCA works fine but would like optical any clues?

      You shouldnt need to anyhting more than just connect up the optical cable from dbox to amp. Mine works just fine.

          Thats what i thought, but no cigar! i will have another go later when i pick my box up from my mates.

              What a dummy I can be at times!! haha I didnt connect the optical all the way into the amp!! duhhhh
