what is ment by a (brute scan) and how would you carry one out on the dbox, is it swiching the scanning speeds from fast to slow

an img with bruteforce scanning facility scans all available frequencies switching between both symbol rates of 6887 and 6952. therefore in theory whatever area u are u should pick up all channels during the scan

hi metman i,m still having probs picking up ppv have looked all over forum found lots of good info but still no joy with ppv p.s i managed to have a look at services xml and it was,nt on yhe list

just found that my box dos,nt have brute force scan function trying fast scan now fingers crossed
