dbox won`t start

hi all
new to forum please be gentle, i pressed a button in the settings menu don`t know what i`ve done, no channels whatsoever-when i switch dbox on i get the debug screen, then i get the sportser pro screen with the words kernal loading at the bottom, then after about twenty seconds the the screen blanks(on dbox) and i`m left with a green led.

Probably best off trying to flash a new image using image flashing assistant. use both the crossover cable and null modem cable. have a search around lots of threads with the info you need. once you get your box back up and running and how you like it, make a back up of your image just in case the same sort of thing happens again

dbox won`t start

hi all

i`m having trouble with ifa, i have to select an image to flash i have tried neutrino sportstar pro, laky pro, and blade quad, ifa says the dbox willnot boot with either of these images i have tried all three ifa says the file must be exactly 8.257.536 bytes.



any suggestions?

have you unarred the image file to get the actual image file extension.img ??

Have you got the Program Winrar
If so right click on your image
And select Extract Here
Now the image will Fit................Paul

i have winrar, i will try that now

in ifa, in option 1/ i have selected my image (blade quad)
option 2/ i have selected network card
option 3/ ifa asks for the com port for the null cable i have com 3 or com 4 availible when i select either ifa says both are in use?

Vinny make sure you Have only one network card enabled
Sack the Null mowdem cable
And just use a Crossover cable dirrect from D Box to pc

just a quick thank you to everybody who has helped me these last few days, i have reflashed my box(blade quad) everything now works! -- just one final question how do i set up bouguets in blade quad?
