    Waiting for time

Just got DBOX back after having tuner replaced (see previous post for the other problems I was having). Plugged everything in raring to go & all I get is waiting for time on the programme guide bar, any advice would be appreciated.

    hi,
unplug the power cable and the "Antenne" cable. Plug the power cable, you'll get a message that there is no signal, clik ok. then via your remote control / d-box, go to Network settings , section syncronisation. change it to NTP if it was DVB and vis-versa
save your settings and then plug the "Antenne" cable and zap.

    cheers.

yeh, but you can tunne to an other channel? if it is the case then set your syncronisation to the old config and reboot.
do you have this issue with all channels? if it is, check your antenne cable.

whats about the older sync config?

          sorry, my english isn't good

Check your signal level coming in by pressing the red then blue button,SNR should be over 55000

Check if your getting a signal through the cable line or I'd say your tuner has not been replaced properly. See if the person that repaired it checked it afterwards.

Lakey pro, the box was working until the last time VM changed the encryption, I had the box reflashed & it came back with Lakey pro, since then the box has not worked properly, it would work fof about an hour then the picture would freeze, no sound. the only thing I could do was unplug the box. the guy who flashed it said the tuner was knackered so I bought a refurbed tuner & had it fitted by a electronics engineer. All the bouquets are still there i.e says bbc 1 but just says waiting for time.

There we have it, the story so far.

Definately getting a signal, the guy who replaced the tuner did not check it. does this suggest the tuner was not replaced properly, how easy would it be to do myself or does anyone know anybody who replaces tuners?

I cant see any errors myself what readings do you get with a known working services file after you have reloaded the channel list when pressing red then blue.
