    sagem freezing

Hi to all, i have a sagem dbox 2 which keeps freezing, iv tried various images to no avail. When i first switch it on (from the mains) it freezes all the time for about 20 mins then gets a lot better to intermittent. any ideas???

Flash with blade quad, you will have to know if it is a 1x or 2x first. Blade uses gbox which fixes the vast majority of chriping sagems, (does it make a noise like chirping birds?)

However GBOX will not autoupdate. You must set your EMU to EVOCAMD in the blade menu - press blue when loaded up, then go to EMU settings and activate EVOCAMD.

Now wait 10mins and your channels should decode, now go back to the blade menu and there will be an option called KEYS COPY. Pick the first one -transfer evocamd keys to gbox.

Now you can activate GBOX and the files it runs off will have been updated. but if the cable company change keys again you must go to evocam again.

In short GBOX fixes the sagem, and blade is the best image with GBOX since it has this transfer feature. Blade is also my favourite anyway.

Other reasons for your box freezing could be
          1.Tuner on the way out
2.The spliter you are using is no good
          3. Like has been said in this thread use the Blade Quad as this has the fixes for the Sagem.
Some people have said that getting a cable booster seems to do the job if it is a signal problem.

i've got a sagem that suffers from some of those problems you mentioned, and i use a trusty andromeda 2.0 image on mine. I keep trying others but always end up back on this one cos it seems more stable. (doesnt use gbox by the way)

                            Gbox on blade ?

surely gbox stopped working on blade after last hit on the boxes and the nagra fix only works on evocam. Seen a couple of threads where some of the great people out there are trying to get Gbox back but no sucsess yet.
Think Zenafan was working on a updated blade quade but no release yet.
Or am i totaly wrong and gbox is still working on some boxes, mine does not even with the key copy wich i used to use all the time. I am now using Laky sylas which is very good but blade quad with gbox get my vote every time.
                            Daz.
