    DBOX IDE recording

    Hi,

I have nokia dbox2 commando image installed with IDE support. I don't think the drivers have installed for the IDE interface. does anyone know where to get drivers or a decent image that supports ide interface.
I have just tried flashing the latest 9.25 Commando image but it keeps freezing at the Loading Kernel stage. Tried flashing several times but same problem. Reflashed with blade quad no problems but lack the IDE support. Does anyone know whare I can get the plugins/drivers so that I can use interface with Blade Quad.

    Thanks

        Hi jlover

I have an IDE Drive and found that Commando 9.25 did intialize the drive correctly (not sure if it's harware or software), I would have to format it and then it would be recognised until I rebooted.

I found that Commando 8.2 to be the most stable, it just works after formating with xfs, I have my EPG and Movies been saved to the HDD folder.

        good luck

Thanks for that advice. I'll give it another go and let everyone know how I get on.
