    can't get dbox running anymore

    my dad has been ****ing around with the dbox and managed to knock all the channels off. all channels were coming up as unsorted and non would kick in so we decided to flash it with the latest commando (12)

    but ever since we just cant get the channels down.

    i managed to transfer over the services.xml file but still the same, so i re scanned and it was still the same.

    are there any latest keys or roms i am missing i just copied stuff over from our old dbox backup. this has made it start working before but now it's not

    we have a sagem dbox2 and are in teesside area any ideas?

      You need to ftp the magic files to the box to clear encrypted channels. Mercs

              he's already flashed the image, so it must be the right image for box. just need to put them magic files in like bulldog said. i f u having trouble locating on the merc site, they are on this page Tools

                  Hi

                  Download Teesside services and bouquets with ppv from download section

                  ftp to dbox press dbox on remote /services/reload channels

                  then as other post say download magic files from link

                  ftp files to their folder on dbox follow text files
                  (open magic files folders on pc then transfer files to same folders on dbox don?t transfer text files )

                      There's no harm in transferring the 0 byte text files as well, Bob, to serve as future reminders. The best of us sometimes forget that "ALL files in this folder MUST be chmod 755"

                      LMAO! (or am I the only silly sod who's forgotten this vital step, more times than I care to remember?)
