sagem dbox2 unsuccessful new image

Tried to put commando image on my sagem dbox and all seemed to go fine but I am now unable to contact it via ftp. Ftp image went over OK but now I get an error kein system and seem unable to contact the box again.

Any ideas what I did wrong and how to correct it?

sounds like u flashed the wrong type of image on ur sagem ie a 2x img on a 1x chip box or vice versa

u need to flash using IFA now using a back up of ur previous img u should have created or the right type of img to match the chips in ur box ie 1x or 2x

if u got a router get a network cable and connect thru that, if u need to connect direct to pc get a crossover network cable...

IFA is Image Flash Assistant and it will flash a new img, no ip addy needed as it assigns it's own....it's available to download....

I was reading the same notes as above and have teh same problem as in the KLEIN error on my nokia D boX. Please can some body tell me what to do as i dont have a clue about images.

Nokias are 2x images. get a 2X image then use : http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...able-ifa-7087/ to flash it

The scan starts and then fimished in about a second. I notice that there are no transponders listed and am I supposed to set my location somewhere on the box?

Thanks MetMan for that, dbox up and working fine just need to get the channels in order. Will start investigating bouquets and learn a little more.
