Chris- either you're doing summat wrong, or you're misinterpreting what you're seeing.

If you're only getting half a dozen FTA channels, you 'could' be guilty of not sending the files to their correct folders: /var/bin/emu (chmod 755 !!) and /var/keys - or, it could be something far more sinister, like your area has now fully converted to n3 encryption.

If on the other hand (like me) you're missing loads of encrypted channels, but still getting loads of others, then your area could still be midway in the transition phase from n1 to n3.

If you have a subbed box, and recently received a new shiny red card for it, then the curtains are slowly closing on your dbox2...

hi paphosal no i dont think ive made my self clear, iam trying to run the commando 12 but all i get is error no channels found even after brute force scan, i have transfared the magics over to the rite folders ie var/bin/emu chmod 755 var/keys left as default 644, but no matter wot i do i still get error no channels found, i know my area has defo not gone n3 as we have only just gone 3.7, so u see its got to be something iam missing, r these magic folders up to date?? coz thats the only thing i can think of, any help would be great cheers.....chris.

if you're not even getting any channels there's no way you'll even be able to tell if what you're doing with the cams/keys is even working. once u have channels - then worry about opening them.

do u have a sub'd box or modem? i'm now wondering if the feed is live.

did you chmod the files when on dbox! side in ftp and not pc side?you got a live feed? did you put the files inside the actual folders into the actual folders on dbox? meaning not var/bin/emu ect but actually go to the end of folder if that makes sense ie:go right to the emus. and keys and transfer direct into box? hope you get me

don't worry about the magic files until u get a successful scan showing at least the fta channels.....bruteforce don't work on C12 u need the updates ....what area r u ? on the new channel map? if not set ur location and scan...

hi guys to answer ur questions yes i have subbed box and modem, once ive transfared the file to the box side then i chmod to 755 but not the var/keys leave them on 644, so i think as far as that goes iam doin that rite, when i flash the box set location it just says no channels found no matter wot i check it just comes back to that dammed no channels found please execute a scan, over and over again....

think you should flash again m8,send image to temp folder,then on box flash without bootloader when done re-boot box then scan see if you get fta....

I'm in the Brighton area so I don't think I'm in N3 realms yet.
I've used Flashfxp to transfer the files into the correct folders e.g on the real magic folders if it had a folder var/keys I've transferred the files into var/keys on the box.

Regarding chmod I've right clicked on flashfxp and there is an option called attributes chmod and I've made sure that the attributes say 755.

Is there anythink else I can try.
