Does anyone Know how to put linux and everything back onto an erased nokia DBOX2

    Hi

I have a nokia dbox2 that had the entire flash erased, (unprotected all, then erased), so that not even bmon or linux etc comes up when switched on, just a empty LCD (was working before this happened)

Does anyone know how to put the operating system and bmon back on ?, because with no OS there, I can't use ethernet, and also with no OS means no connection for hyperterminal to do an upload

Please Please HELP as am desperate now

Also does anyone know of someone that repairs DBOX's here in UK, as my original nokia dbox2 died, not even switch on, which is why I got the 2nd one and then accidently erased it

    All the best for everyone

    Michael

I may be wrong on this but i'm sure i read a couple of years back if you erase the flash chips, then they need to be removed from the board and redone. Pretty sure it was a difficult task. maybe it may be possible to remove the flash chips from your old box to replace the ones you erased. I'm sure someone who knows more of the ins and outs should be be able help you
