Toggling Softcams in Commando12

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how I can change enable a softcam (Mgcamd) permanently on a Commando12 image?...Or the where the file is that I need to change.

I can toggle it on via the Blue button menu, but when the dbox2 reboots it drops back to evocam only...This leaves me with the FTA stuff.

I assume that my previous image (Blade) replicated the onscreen change to file, but Commando12 doesn't seem to keep this persistant.

If a new saved setting isn't maintained through a reboot, this usually means that your image has gone read-only.

Reflash with your most recent backup. Cheers- AL

The rest of the settings seem to hold, i.e. boot settings, network (+ everything else in the 'dbox' menu)...Is it still worth re-flashing?

I may reflash anyway as my next test would be to reload my previous image (from backup) swtich the softcam to enable Mgcamd, download the softcams+keys etc to my lappy, flash with Commando12 again and upload these to see if it sticks.

Another thing to remember when two or more cams are installed is to only have one cam ON at any time- never two or more!!

Ah right. Awesome! Thanks AL. That was the problem...I had enabled two cams at the same time. Now that I disabled EvoCamd, seems to be fine.
