Blade Trinity not picking up new channels..

my box won't pick up any new channels, until i do a scan. i'm using the blade trinity image but it doesn't pick up new channels.

how many channels u got? what's missing

all the channels are there but say if one of the channels dissapers and message comes up to say 'channel not available'... normally before the channel would appear in the andre/others bouquet but until i do a scan it will not pick up the channels..

Try downloading a service file from the downloads and see if this helps at all I use the Blade Quad and there is a problem in my area when scanning for channels. There is a fix for this in the Blade Quad thread but it did seem a bit much so I download a service file and then built on that worked a treat. Then I used the web browser to the dbox to create my bucket file to put my channels in order.

There's been a lot of channels moving about recently. Check and make sure background scanning is switched on if you want the channels to be picked up without a scan.

where do you go to check if background scanning is enabled..?

it should be on the same page as when you do a service scan. look at the bottom of page,it should have an option to disable/enable background scanning

i am usimg the blade trinity image, and in the service scan section there is no option to enable background scanning, i searched all options on the box yesterday and could not find it..

any ideas where it should/could be...? can i add it on or do i need flash a new image..?

try flashing it with blade quad works great for me been using it 4 months no problem
