Dbox2 help

Yeah the usual please help,I have a nokia dbox2 with commando 810 image on it always been temperamental have not used it since last year. If I download the new 9.25 image will it work people talk about keys and cams what are these and do I need them. Last time I just loaded the image and did a service scan.

Yes you need keys not sure what cams you get with the image but id download the new image my man.

What probs you having with the image you got?

Thanks for the reply all the channels come up when I do a service scan but non of them decode, I have moved still in same city but the channels are not unlocking in my new place. Going to load the new com image, but I believe this dose not come with any keys. Have read a bit more on what to do, last time just loaded the image and sort of worked. What would you recommend.

The quad blade image on this forum has not got any key or cams as per forum rules where can I get a fully loaded copy so I can load and scan

your old commando will not work even if u hadn't moved....in april this year the cable companies changed the method of rolling (updating) the keys, your img from a year ago will not have files which will handle the new method....u can add one file to ur key folder and ur old img should update....the file is available on the net and is called nagrarom7 dated 08/04/2008

Thanks do I load this in var/keys folder, is nagrarom 10 better or not the same.

Nag 10 is not the same
At the mo the rolling rom is Nagrarom 7
Ftp this to var/keys Job Done .....Paul

Copy evrything from this site into the folders specified and you shouldnt have a problem.

Have a look at other people with the dbox's and check out what theyve achieved.

Hey dudes thanks for your help, I have tried the dbox 2 flashing assistant cant get it to flash. Will try the ftp next have ngr7 and com 925. Will see what happens.

Both dboxs keep coming up with connection refused any ideas

Restart them. Switch off for a few seconds then reboot.

would norton antivirus stop it

Yes it has been known
It needs to be Uninstalled ,If its that thats stopping it .....Paul

You can go into the settings on norton and disable the problem,

Unless u want to unistall.
